About the Program
Dedham Youth Wrestling is open to wrestlers in grades K–8 of all experience levels. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of wrestling while building confidence, discipline, and teamwork in a fun, safe environment. Building the next generation of Dedham wrestlers!

Registration
To register for Dedham Youth Wrestling, 2 steps are required: 1.) Register for the program below 2.) Current USA Wrestling Membership (details below)
2026–2027 Season
Program runs from 12/1 to 3/11 · Practices Tue/Thu at the former Capen School · 322 Sprague Street
Grades K–4: 5:30–6:30
Grades 5–8: 6:30–8:00
Registration includes rental fee that Parks & Rec now has started charging for all programs.
Equipment
Wrestling shoes and helmet are required. You can purchase your own, or you can see if anything fits from our supply of loaners. They must be returned at the end of the season. Due to many of the singlets not being returned, we will be requiring the purchase of uniforms for competitions. Stay tuned for details here.
Team shirts will be provided to each wrestler.
USA Wrestling Membership Required
- Go to: USAWmembership.com
- Click Purchase/Renew Memberships
- Choose Limited Folkstyle Athlete Membership for $20
- Go to Manage, Profiles, and next to the wrestler's name click Manage Profile.
- Click on Add Club Affiliation.
- Search for Dedham.
- Affiliate with Dedham Jr. Marauders.
Directions to Capen School
Practice is held at the former Capen School at 322 Sprague St, Dedham, MA.
⚠️ This is NOT the new ECEC on High St.
Please make sure to head to the former Capen School at 322 Sprague St — not the Early Childhood Education Center on High Street.
